Job Description:

We’re looking for a front-end specialist to join our team of 15 developers and designers at WhiteLabelDating.com. We’re focused on creating the very best online dating platform in the industry. We’re highly profitable, growing quickly and want to recruit the best people to work with our experienced team and be a part of our future.

We’re based at 1 High Street in the centre of Windsor, west of London. We’re easily commutable from London (West from Paddington or South-West direct from Waterloo), Reading, Staines or Slough.

You’ll work in a relaxed, social office, alongside 80+ other WLD people – not just developers! Read a bit more about our staff.

We want to recruit the very best front-end developer/designers who are as comfortable hand-coding standards-compliant, semantic and fast HTML/CSS/JS as they are in designing elegant and intuitive user interfaces. The role is both challenging and varied, encompassing web application UI design, splash/landing page builds, email/newsletter layout, Photoshop cut-up and layer manipulation and cross-browser debugging.

You’ll need the following skills/attributes:

Portfolio or personal website

Strong Photoshop skills for web design

Cross-browser, semantic HTML expert

Full knowledge and mastery of CSS

Up-to-date Javascript guru for effects/Ajax

Experience of designing flexible CMS templates

Strong communicator, team-worker and best practice stickler

The following are nice-to-haves:

Ruby on Rails views/templates

ColdFusion scripting

Subversion (SVN) or Git for source control

Linux/Unix shell skills
