Technical Web analytics Consultant
Job Description:
We’re working with an award winning worldwide provider of solutions to measure, monitor and analyse customer web sites, They’re a Privately owned business with 130 employees and offices in North America, Europe and the Far East and in excess of 3500 customers. They’re currently expanding and looking for a Technical Web analytics Consultant to join the London team.
Reporting to the Country manager, you will work in close collaboration with the digital marketing and e-Commerce managers/directors of our clients (large corporate clients across all industry verticals) as well as with their technical teams and or service providers.
Duties:
* Support pre-sales activities by contributing subject matter and technical knowledge to the sales force.
* Design, document and deliver the technical architecture of the web analytics solution.
* Support our clients with technical and/or product training.
* Provide second level customer support.
* Contribute to product innovation and enhancement efforts
* Protects our integrity and value by keeping information confidential.
* Keeps abreast of key competitor product and services news updates.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organisations.
* Maintains accurate and organised records of all client deliverables.
Technical aptitudes:
* Programming/Mark-up Languages – advanced understanding of JavaScript and D/HTML and previous experience in coding in these languages.
* Experience using an Analytics tool – previous experience of using and implementing an analytics tool. Analytical Skills – demonstrated data analysis experience in Marketing or eCommerce or related field. Strong ability to present findings clearly to a non-technical audience.
* MS Excel – knowledge of MS Excel and it’s use for manipulating and analysing data. Including pivot tables, sorting, filtering and charting analysis
* Database skills – understanding of database concepts and would have implemented or managed a database in a previous role.
* Data transfer protocols and technologies – experience handling APIs, XML &HTTP.

* Strong understanding and passion for all digital marketing channels including:
o Mobile marketing
o Social media
o Rich media
o Search engine marketing
o Online advertising
o Email marketing
o Affiliate marketing
o International work or study experience (desirable)
o Experience adjusting dialogue to both IT and Marketing audiences
o Willingness to travel
o Good visual presentation skills
Skills/Qualifications:
o Educated to degree level (minimum BA/BSC) in computer sciences
Salary in the region of £30k
