Job Description:

My client a leading Asset management company is looking to fill a number of key positions; they are currently looking to hire an experienced Software Developer for several locations including London, Wimbledon, Vancouver & Bermuda to join there growing team responsible for designing and developing their next generation online financial platform. My client believes that I.T. is integral to the business and has a huge potential to give us a competitive advantage in every facet of the organisation. All of the IT systems are developed in-house using Microsoft C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET and SQL Server. To be a successful applicant you must fill the below criteria; * Outstanding academic record from a reputable university (preferably a 1st class or equivalent degree in a numerate discipline). A master or higher degree will be advantageous * Proficient in object-oriented programming languages (e.g. C#, Java, VB.Net) One of more of the following specialisations: * Backend system development (e.g. database, transactional, messaging, multithreaded systems) * Web development (e.g. HTML, Javascript, ASP.NET, JSP/servlet, PHP) * RIA development (e.g. AJAX, Adobe Flash/Flex/AIR, MS Silverlight) * Web UI/graphics design (e.g. CSS, 2D/3D graphics/animation, typography)
