Online Marketing Executive

Location: Rochdale

Salary Up To: £25,000

My client requires an enthusiastic, self motivated, sales orientated Online Marketing Executive to join their expanding mail order business.

Working closely with their Marketing Manager, the Online Marketing Executive duties will include;

• Maintaining and helping to develop the eCommerce websites

• Adding new products, writing copy, altering prices, adding offers and news

• Preparing email newsletters and advertisements.

• Planning and carrying out direct marketing activities

• PPC campaigns. (ad copy, keywords, management of the campaign, understanding the Google analytics, evaluating cost per conversion and ROI).

• Marketing support will include helping with SEO development, setting up competitions and working on our social networking brand presence.

• Maintaining our eBay shop.

The Online Marketing Executive responsibilities will not be rigidly defined and sometimes you may have to undertake other tasks to ensure the smooth running of this small company.

• Gathering marketing data

• Assisting the sales team with order processing and answering incoming order calls.

• Attending exhibitions and shows

The ideal Online Marketing Executive for this role will have experience in the following:

• Online marketing, including

• PPC, SEO and social networking. You will have

• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a passion for online marketing.

• Basic understanding of

o Photoshop

o Dreamweaver

o HTML coding

To be considered for this position, you will be a graduate (or equivalent) or someone looking to build on their marketing experience. You will also need to demonstrate excellent writing skills, and an interest in the marketing mix, branding, PR and the internet.
